Alexandrina Pereira is an independent art consultant with over fifteen years’ experience in the art industry. Specialising in international modern and contemporary art she offers guidance and expertise to an exclusive roster of buyers and sellers. Through privileged contacts with a large network of galleries, auction houses, emerging and established artists, private collectors and art specialists worldwide, she provides objective, independent and confidential advice in both the primary and secondary markets.

 

Before establishing her own art consultancy ap art advisory, she acted as gallery director and business development for The Gallery of Everything, worked as associate director of sales for Lazarides Galley and an auction house in London. Prior that she managed a corporate art collection and worked for an art dealership in Paris. She was also employed in several institutions, including Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, and Louise T Blouin Art Info London.

 

Further to her Postgraduate Diploma in Contemporary Art History from Paris VI Sorbonne she has given lectures and written articles for museum catalogues, auction houses and art galleries. She has also collaborated on a number of art projects and publications such as The History of The Saatchi Gallery (Booth-Clibborn Editions) and Nonconformers: A New History of Self-Taught Artists (Yale University Press, 2022).
